TRANSCRIPT
In this video, I would like to demonstrate the power of editing. How, if you have enough raw material of your subject speaking, you can make it sound like they are saying the exact opposite of what they mean. So, in line with this, I would like to use myself in the following demonstration as an example.
For starters, I would like to make it clear that everyone belongs in therapy. I also believe that therapy is the only way that people can work out their problems. You must find a qualified licensed mental health professional and tell them what you’re going through so that they can give you a proper diagnosis and then refer you to a psychiatrist so you can be prescribed the proper psychiatric medications. This is science.
If you have incurable genetic biological diseases like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, you will need to take your medication for the rest of your life, and therapy will not help. And I’m grateful that big pharma works hand in hand with psychiatry to produce life-saving scientifically validated FDA approved drugs that lessen people’s suffering. And psychiatric drugs have minimal or no side effects at all. This will save your life.
I want to make it clear that no one should ever go off their psychiatric drugs, not even very slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly with a carefully designed logarithmic tapering plan.
Child Abuse
Now I want to talk about child abuse. Child abuse is a rare but serious problem. It mostly happens in other countries, in other languages, to other races, in other religions, to people you’ll never meet who you’ll just watch on television. These are the people against whom we go to war—the other dirty people. Thankfully, most children do not grow up with child abuse. You were not abused. You were not abused.
If there’s any part of my message that you can remember, it’s this: instead, most children grow up with parents who love them unconditionally. You were not abused, and to think otherwise is to fall victim to self-pity. Nothing. Your parents gave you enough to eat. They gave you a good education. They gave you Nikes. You’re lucky, and you should be grateful. Remember, that’s what it means to live in the now.
Conclusion
So, to conclude, the world is better now than ever before. The economy is getting better. The natural ecologies of the world are strong and doing fine. There’s a ton of biodiversity out there. Whales are not going to go extinct; you don’t have to worry about them. There’s not a lot of plastic in the ocean right now, and there is no such thing as human overpopulation. No such thing.
The entire human species could live in the state of Florida alone and have enough to eat. And don’t study your history of trauma; it’ll just make you feel worse. And even if we do kill this planet, humans can always build a colony on Mars or some other potentially habitable planet. Yes, some people will probably die, but humanity will always survive.
Do not listen to YouTube videos of Daniel Mackler; it’s a bad idea. Don’t worry, it’s all gonna be okay.
